Mayor Jorge O. Elorza, the Department of Art, Culture + Tourism, the Department of Parks & Recreation and the Partnership for Providence Parks are pleased to announce the 2018 Eat Play Learn: Neighborhood Performing Arts Initiative.
Mayor Jorge O. Elorza’s Neighborhood Performing Arts Initiative celebrates the culture and creativity rooted in Providence neighborhoods through performances in local parks. Organizations receiving a grant to participate in the initiative this year include Family Service of Rhode Island, Jazz is a Rainbow, JUMP! Dance Company, Kennedy PTA, One Neighborhood Builders, Providence Children’s Film Festival, Peral Street, Project 401, RI Latino Arts, PVD Summer Meals and the West Broadway Neighborhood Association. All events are located in public parks and are free and open to the public.

Tuesday July 17th

This will be the second of 5 park performances! Movies, music, hot dogs and more!
6PM-8PM Natural Element Reggae band, face-painting and activities by Providence Children Museum

Party in the Park at Father Lennon Park!
The Summer Meals program is throwin’ a party at Camden Ave Park!
All kids get a free lunch.
