MeconoMorph comes to City Hall

This December the Department of Art, Culture + Tourism is excited to be partnering with sculptor Viktor Genel to create a one-of-a-kind kinetic MeconoMorph for the atrium in the Gallery at City Hall. Each MeconoMorph is made from upcycled business cards and other lightweight materials such as magnets so that it defies gravity and tricks the eye. Genel calls the MeconoMorph the “eighth wonder of the world” and we agree! If you are interested in participating you can find the MeconoMorph donation boxes visit the following locations in Downtown Providence:

  • The Mayor’s Center for City Services – City Hall (25 Dorrance) Room 101
  • City of Providence Human Resources – City Hall (25 Dorrance) Room 411
  • The Doorley Building (444 Westminster) Lobby
