Providence International Arts Festival, 2015
The Providence International Arts Festival, a collaboration with FirstWorks, was conceived to celebrate the Arts, Culture and Community in Providence. It was made possible by a grant from The National Endowment for The Arts, and in 2015 it has a specific focus highlighting Washington Street and Kennedy Plaza.
Mayor Elorza’s goal has been to create a sustainable marquis festival for The City of Providence. As we move from year to year, with help from the community, the vision is an ever expanding spotlight on Providence’s creative and cultural communities.
