Food Truck Vendor Application Summer 2024
The City of Providence welcomes applications from Food Truck Vendors interested in vending at the City of Providence Independence Day Celebration on July 2nd (Rain Date July 3rd) and the Rhode Island Philharmonic POPS Concert at Roger Williams Park on July 31st (Rain Day August 1).
Timeline:
- Food Truck Vendor applications close June 7th.
Vendors will be selected based on the following criteria:
- Vendors who submit their materials on time are preferred;
- Vendors who offer foods that compliment a diverse array of options to be provided at each event are preferred (eg. fit into a balanced group of different types of dinner, dessert and snack trucks).
Event Info:
City of Providence Independence Day Celebration
- July 2nd from 6PM-9:30PM(Rain Date July 3rd).
- Food trucks will need to be on site 2-3 hours before event time and will need to be ready to serve by 5pm.
- The Independence Day Celebration includes food trucks, entertainment, and a fireworks show over the bay will cap off the evening from 9PM-9:30PM.
- The event is free and open to the public.
- Estimated attendance is 5,000 people.
Rhode Island Philharmonic POPS Concert at Temple to Music
- July 31st from 7PM-9PM (Rain Day August 1st).
- Food trucks will need to be on site 2-3 hours before event time and will need to be ready to serve by 6pm.
- The concert is free and open to the public.
- Estimated attendance is 2,500.
