Year Two Programming Highlights

As of August 2018, new national performing artists are expected to visit PVD middle schools in Fall 2018.  Check out the list below!

• Valerie June – Roger Williams Middle School (Returning Artist)
  
• Fanshen Cox-DiGiovanni – DelSesto Middle School (New Artist)
  
• Alfre Woodward and Roderick Spencer – Gilbert Stuart Middle School (New Artists)
  

 

Additionally, all middle schools will sponsor a re-launch of the TA:P program:

• Gilbert Stuart Middle School will hosted a re-launch program with Rhode Island Black Storytellers Executive Director Valerie Tutson on September 7, 2018.  Check out the video!

 

• DelSesto Middle School will launched their “Beat the Odds” curriculum on September 7, 2018 with local performing artist Becky Bass. Check out the video!
  

 

• Roger Williams Middle School will host their launch at the Museum of Natural History and Planetarium located inside Roger Williams Park on September 21, 2018.
