Hairspray Jr. Brings The House Down!

The students of Gilbert Stuart Middle School put on a stellar production of Hairspray Jr. in front of a captive audience of family, friends, students and teachers.  From concept to curtain call, the students were involved with every aspect of the production thanks to support from Providence Middle School Teachers, Turnaround Arts: Providence and Music Theatre International.

 

Edna is shocked to find out that Mr. Pinky is calling for her daughter Tracy to be his new spokesperson.

 

The Guard takes everyone’s breath away as he sings the last notes of “The Big Dollhouse” number.

 

Amber Von Tussle stuns the audience with a gymnastic split at the end of “Cooties.”
