turnaround arts: providence schools celebrate the season with performances and community events

On December 6th the Roger Williams Middle School Choir sang at the State House and their performance (along with all of the State House performances) will be shown on Ocean State Network (OSN) on Christmas Day.

Roger Williams hosted their Winter Arts Festival from 5PM – 7PM on December 13th and on December 20th they will feature their talent show “Roger Williams Middle School Got Talent.”
Del Sesto Middle School had their Winter Celebration on December 14th. This is a Family Engagement Event planned with the support of the PBIS team and community partners. On this evening, hundreds of Del Sesto students attended with their family members to enjoy performances, activities, a visit from Santa Claus, and to “shop” the Winter Wonderland of donations that staff members and their families collected throughout the year. It was truly a magical evening of warmth and cheer!

Gilbert Stuart’s school choir sang at the Amica Insurance building on December 15th and the teacher chorus will serenade their building on the last day of school. What a wonderful way to end the year!
