2019 Ely Neighborhood Performing Arts Celebrations
PLEASE NOTE ALL EVENTS ORIGINALLY SCHEDULED TO TAKE PLACE ON WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 28 HAVE BEEN MOVED TO THURSDAY, AUGUST 29 DUE TO WEATHER CONCERNS.
Mayor Jorge O. Elorza, the Department of Art, Culture + Tourism and the Partnership for Providence Parks with support from the Parks Department, , and The Office of Economic Opportunity are pleased to announce the 2019 Eat Play Learn: Ely Neighborhood Performing Arts Celebrations.
Mayor Jorge O. Elorza’s Ely Neighborhood Performing Arts Celebrations are intended to honor the culture, creativity and passion rooted in Providence neighborhoods through performances in local parks. Organizations receiving a grant to participate in the in celebrations this year include Family Service of Rhode Island, Jazz is a Rainbow, Providence Children’s Film Festival, Encore Opera, and West Broadway Neighborhood Association. All events are located in public parks and are free and open to the public.
Additional Neighborhood Performances will be taking place throughout the summer so be sure to check back here to stay updated with the latest schedule!
